Jacob Traub
Associate
Jacob received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland, with concentrations in United States and British history from the University of Maryland in 2013. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2017 while simultaneously working for the National Labor Relations Board for the bankruptcy and administrative trial divisions for Region 22 in Newark New Jersey. He thereafter worked for a Plaintiff’s personal injury trial firm for approximately four (4) years handling complex discovery issues, medical malpractice matters and assisting in preparation of appellate briefs and cases for trial.
Following his experience at said trial firm, Jacob proceeded to becoming an assistant managing attorney at a Wall Street Plaintiff’s firm where he managed his own case load, a referral department and a pre-litigation department setting up matters to be assigned to handling attorneys. Following a year as a assistant managing attorney, Jacob went on to be a specialized senior associate working on large value cases at another Plaintiff’s personal injury firm while assisting in developing matters before the September 11 Victim’s Compensation Tribunal.
At Giordano Glaws & Fenstermacher LLP, Jacob’s primary focus has been defending general liability matters for retail stores and private city agencies, in addition to writing appeals, and handling various regulatory & administrative law matters for their clients.
Jacob is currently admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, the District Courts of New York (Eastern, Southern, Western, Northern), the District Court of New Jersey and the Second and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute.
