John graduated from The Johns Hopkins University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 1986.
Upon graduating from law school, John became a Kings County Assistant District Attorney. His more than eight-year tenure as an Assistant District Attorney included five years of prosecuting felony narcotics cases for the Office of the Special Prosecutor for The City of New York. John then left the practice of criminal law and entered the practice of civil law, where primarily he has worked in the area of insurance defense. For a period of several years, John's practice involved a mix of personal injury defense and commercial cases. Ultimately, after being in civil practice for close to ten years, John's practice came to concentrate on the defense of New York Labor Law cases and automobile accident cases.
John joined Giordano, Glaws, Fenstermacher & Nash LLP in July 2021, where his practice concentrates on the defense of premises liability, motor vehicle, and Child Victim Act cases.
John is a licensed attorney in the State of New York. He is admitted to practice both in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
